Please review the following Terms before using my website or social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). By accessing and using this website, you (referred to as "visitor," "you," or "your") confirm that you have read and understood these Terms, and agree to comply with them. Please ensure you read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or using any services.
Age Requirement
All services are available to individuals aged 18 and older.
A child’s Reiki Healing session is subjected to an adult present.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Policy for Readings & Healings
When you book an appointment, please be aware that you are reserving a time slot that is no longer available to other clients. I am mindful that life can sometimes interfere with plans, and I ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Late Arrival Policy
If you are running late for your appointment, please inform me at least 15- 30 minutes in advance. Please be mindful that your session may be shortened or rescheduled, depending on availability.
Cooling-Off Period for Readings & Healing Sessions
During the first 5- 10 minutes of your reading or healing session, either party can cancel the session for any reason, and a full refund will be provided without any questions asked. I may cancel your session if there are mental health concerns, grief issues, or disrespectful behaviour.
Extending Your Booking
If you need additional time to address further questions, an extension may be possible, subject to availability.
Session Information
Reiki Sessions
Reiki sessions are intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and general well-being. While Reiki can help alleviate certain symptoms, it is not intended to replace medical treatment. Always consult with a healthcare provider for medical advice and treatment.
Psychic and Medium Sessions
Psychic and medium readings offer insight, guidance, and messages from the spirit world. These sessions are intended for entertainment purposes only and should not replace professional legal, medical, or financial advice. Any decisions or actions you take based on the reading are your own responsibility. Please be aware that if you are experiencing Complex Grief (CG) or Prolonged Grief (PG) this may impact the session. In these cases, I recommend seeking support from a grief counsellor. If your mental health is deemed to be unwell, your session will be cancelled and refunded immediately.
No Guarantees
The information provided in any session is based on intuitive insight and is not guaranteed. The accuracy of readings may vary, and while I strive to offer meaningful guidance, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
Behavior Policy
Respectful Behavior
All sessions must be conducted in a respectful manner. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, including disrespect toward the practitioner (me), will result in the immediate termination of the session with written or verbal notice.
Client Responsibility
You are responsible for your mental and physical health. Please notify the practitioner (me) of any medical conditions, mental health concerns, or sensitivities prior to your session, particularly if you are pregnant or have any physical conditions that may affect your ability to receive Reiki.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold [Felicity Spiritual Connection] harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the services provided. This includes claims resulting from your own decisions, actions, or use of the information received during your session and on the website or social media platforms.
Disclaimer
Felicity Spiritual Connection services are provided for complementary healing, and the psychic medium readings are for entertainment purposes only. Felicity does not claim to diagnose pregnancies or treat medical, psychological, legal, or financial issues. Always seek advice from qualified professionals in relevant fields for any issues requiring expert guidance. By engaging with any services from Felicity Spiritual Connection, clients will acknowledge that they retain full responsibility for their personal decisions and their outcomes.
No Recording or Photography
Recording (audio or video) or photographing any session is strictly prohibited unless prior consent is given by the practitioner.
Confidentiality
All personal information shared during a session, including the details of the reading or healing, is kept confidential. I will not share any information about you without your express consent, except where required by law.
Health Waiver
A confidential health waiver must be completed before receiving any Reiki services. This includes healing sessions and psychic readings combined with Reiki. The health waiver ensures that I am informed of any physical or mental health conditions that may affect the session. These forms are necessary for my membership with the International Institute for Complementary Therapy and to comply with my insurance requirements.
Amendment of Terms & Conditions
I reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Limitation of Liability
By booking and participating in any session, you agree that Felicity Spiritual Connection will not be held liable for any personal, emotional, or physical injury, damage, or loss incurred directly or indirectly from participating in a session.
Time frame
Clients are encouraged to allow time between readings, especially on the same topic. Booking sessions too close together may result in repetitive guidance, as situations need time to unfold. Depending on the reading or service, a gap of a few weeks to a few months is recommended before rebooking. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and agree to this recommendation.
Right to Change Services
I reserve the right to modify, stop, or limit the services offered at any time, without prior notice. Access to services may be suspended temporarily or permanently, for any reason, or for no reason at all.
Gift sessions and gift vouchers
New section, for Felicity to approve.These terms cover the gift offer and are not part of the wording reproduced above. Everything here sits on top of the Australian Consumer Law, never in place of it.
How long a gift voucher lasts
A gift voucher is valid for one year from the date it is bought. The expiry date is printed on the voucher and included in the email that carries it. If your voucher has just gone past its date, get in touch anyway; where I reasonably can, I would rather honour it than not see you.
How it is redeemed
Each voucher carries its own code. The person it was bought for quotes that code when they book, by phone, email or through the booking page, and I hold the value against their session. A voucher may be put towards any reading, healing or combined session I offer at the time it is redeemed.
If the session they choose costs more than the voucher, they pay the difference on the day. If it costs less, the remaining value stays on the voucher and can be used again until the voucher expires. A voucher can be used in more than one visit.
Refunds and transfers
A voucher can be given to someone else at any time before it is redeemed; tell me the new name so the booking is not held up. It cannot be exchanged for cash, and I do not usually refund a change of mind, but that does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if a session is not delivered as it should be, you are entitled to a remedy, and depending on the problem that may include a refund.
If the voucher was bought by mistake, or the details on it are wrong, tell me within a reasonable time and I will correct or cancel it.
Changing a booked gift session
The normal cancellation policy applies: at least 24 hours' notice to move or cancel a session. A session rescheduled with notice does not use up any of the voucher's value, and the expiry date does not move. If a late cancellation or a missed appointment becomes a pattern, I may treat one session as used, and I will tell the voucher holder before I do.
If I have to change or cancel the appointment myself, the voucher is untouched and I will find another time, extending the expiry date if that is what it takes.
The cooling-off period still applies
The first five to ten minutes of a gift session are a cooling-off period exactly as they are for any other booking. If either of us stops the session in that window, the voucher goes back to its full value and can be used another day. If I don't feel the connection, I stop the reading; the gift is not spent.
The health waiver still applies
If a gift session includes any Reiki, the person receiving it completes the confidential health waiver before we begin, in the same way any other client would. This is not optional; it is required for my membership with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists and by my insurer. Gift sessions are for adults 18 and over, and a child's Reiki session requires an adult present.
Lost vouchers, and your details
Vouchers are sent by email and I keep the record, so if one is lost I can reissue it. The names, email addresses and message you give me when buying a gift are used only to send the voucher and arrange the session, and are never sold or shared except where the law requires.
